During the training course, the actions a first aider should take when someone experiences physical injuries or other difficulties are discussed in detail.

Each participant gets the chance to practice extensively with a variety of materials such as
a resuscitation doll, bandages, an AED machine, etc.

First aid is a multifaceted subject.

During this 2-day course (for beginners) or one day (4 hours as a refresher), we will explore the following:

No, no specific prior knowledge is required for this training.

As an individual, you are more than welcome regardless of which sector you work in.

If you pass the internal test after the training, you will receive a certificate of competence for the social worker training course

If you pass the basic first aid course, you will receive an ’emergency worker’ certificate. This certificate remains valid indefinitely provided you take a 4-hour refresher course every year.

No, you must first take the basic course and then follow an annual refresher course.

The ’emergency worker’ certificate remains valid indefinitely provided you attend a 4-hour annual refresher course. If you have not followed a refresher course, you will need to re-register for the basic first aid course.

Yes, if your employer requires a certificate of attendance, we can give you one after each class.

In case of no-show or cancellation by the client, the registration fee/invoice remains due.

If you do not participate in the examination or training, you cannot obtain a certificate/attestation either. To obtain a certificate/attestation, you must of course pass the examination/internal test.

Naturally, we will try to ensure that an examination or training opportunity never has to be cancelled by Prevom. Nevertheless, should this happen due to exceptional reasons or extreme circumstances, you will be notified by telephone or email. The registration fee will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation by Prevom, without any additional compensation on top of the initial amount you paid when booking.
