Driving / moving loads

Many companies have a considerable fleet of forklifts: it is one of the most widely used motorised work equipment.
To ensure operational safety, sufficient attention must be paid to maintenance and security of the equipment.

This is only the beginning: operator training is critical for safety!
Misuse of a forklift can lead to serious injuries, as well as extensive damage resulting in major costs.

This is why Prevom provides training tailored to your company: we ensure that both the employees working with the equipment
as well as those working in the environment where the equipment is actively in use, are aware of all relevant safety regulations.

Although skill ‘transfers’ to some extent between a forklift and a reach truck, the devices are still unique in terms of manoeuvring and manipulating loads. The considerable height one can reach with the mast of the device also brings with it a whole new set of risks: falling pallets/product, tipping the device, etc.

It is interesting for both experienced and inexperienced operators to receive training – where inexperienced operators make mistakes due to lack of experience/training, experienced operators of reach trucks sometimes tend to push the limits of what is ‘possible’ with the equipment.

Failure to respect the limits of height or weight of the load can lead to fatal accidents.

Prevom ensures that everyone in your company can operate a reach truck both safely and efficiently.

Working at heights

Scissor lifts are used in extremely varied conditions: in warehouses, in the ‘field’ during repairs and maintenance, in uneven/rough terrain in forestry and construction sites, among others…

The situation in which your company deploys a scissor lift affects the risk profile of the equipment.

Prevom therefore provides training based on a strong foundation combined with relevant information and tips for your specific usage pattern. This way, the training is adapted exactly to your situation and the context in which your employees use the device.

Working with cranes

A truck-mounted crane can be used for many different jobs: from loading a few pallets of tiles to lifting a heavy generator or other valuable and fragile equipment.

Therefore, it is important for the operator to know exactly how to safely operate a truck-mounted crane and what the limits of the equipment are.

During this training, Prevom ensures that you gain all the insights needed to complete the job safely and efficiently. A balanced mix of theory and practice allows the student to work confidently and autonomously.

Moving loads but also maneuvering a crane involves certain risks.

A well-trained operator makes all the difference: thanks to a good understanding of the machine’s limitations and the
safety conditions that must be adhered to, many risks can be minimised or completely eliminated.

Prevom therefore creates a balanced blend between practice and theory, with an emphasis on the practical realities in which the student will use the tap.

The extensive experience of our teachers translates into numerous practical examples, giving each student a good understanding of why one should proceed in a certain way.
