Our fire extinguishing training is specially designed for employees who may have to take responsibility for firefighting within a company or institution.

Overall objective:
Learning to put out fires safely and efficiently.

This includes:

• Prevent damage: Quick and effective use of small extinguishers can reduce serious damage.
• Save lives: Proper training can save lives in emergency situations.
• Legal requirement: Many countries have regulations that require employers to train their personnel in firefighting.

• You know the general principles of fire, including how fire starts and spreads.
• You know the fire triangle.
• You know the different fire extinguishers, their properties and applications effortlessly.
• You know the difference between different fire classes: learn how different types of fires are classified based on the materials that burn.
• You understand the correct procedures and actions to be followed in case of fire.

• You can extinguish fires of solids, liquids and gases using powder rapid extinguishers, CO2 rapid extinguishers and water.
• Carefully deploying a fire blanket poses no problem for you.
• You can efficiently raise the alarm in case of a fire

The customer provides a room with a projector for the theoretical part of the fire safety training.

The following must also be present:

• water connection.
• electricity connection.
• space of 20x20m for the practical exercise and placement of the fire truck.

Prevom provides a firefighter’s jacket, fire-resistant gloves and a hat for all participants. We also bring the fire extinguishers, fire blanket and other equipment.

The location for this in-company training on portable extinguishers must always be provided by the client.

This has several advantages, notably the fact that participants can learn in familiar surroundings.

This not only means fewer nerves thanks to familiar surroundings, but also improved practical insight!

The training on fire extinguishers (theory and practice) lasts about 4 hours and is given in one day.

There is no examination for this course, either for the theoretical part or the practical part. The participant will receive a participation certificate after the firefighting course.

You will receive a certificate of participation from Prevom. This certificate will state that you have successfully completed the training.

If you have lost your attestation, it is best to discuss this with your employer. They can then contact Prevom.

We charge a €30 administrative fee for issuing a new certificate.
