Safety training

Safety training: the way to prevent accidents.

According to figures from Fedris (the Belgian Federal Agency for Occupational Risks), around 167,362 workplace accidents were recorded in 2023. This corresponds to a 0.1% decrease compared to 2022 and a 12% reduction compared to 2019.

Among these occupational accidents, 19.1% were related to slips, trips, and falls, while 18.2% were caused by a loss of control over machinery.

Prevom is convinced that regular safety training plays a critical prevention role here.
