Are you prepared for emergencies? Do you know how to effectively tackle a sudden fire or when and how to use the right portable fire extinguishing equipment? And perhaps even more importantly: how could the initial fire have been prevented?
It is essential that every employee has basic knowledge of fire fighting & fire safety because according to the Codex Book 3 Title 3 of Well-being at Work, every employer must establish a fire-fighting service any number of employees present in the company.
This approach ensures that at least one person is always available to intervene in the event of a fire incident, and also allows the size and resources of the firefighting service to be tailored to the specific fire risks within the company.

The training takes 4 hours and takes place on one day at your company.

Following the training, all participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Our fire safety training with small extinguishers is specially designed for people who may have to take responsibility for firefighting within a company or institution.

Learning to put out fires safely and efficiently.
This includes:

- Legal requirement: Many countries have regulations that require employers to train their personnel in firefighting.

- You know the general principles of fire, including how fire starts and how a fire spreads.
- You know the fire triangle.
- You recognise different fire extinguishers, their properties and applications.
- You know the difference between fire classes: learn how fires are classified based on the materials that burn.
- You understand the correct procedures and actions to be followed in case of fire.
- You can extinguish fires of solids, liquids and gases using powder rapid extinguishers, CO2 rapid extinguishers and water.
- You can carefully deploy a fire blanket.
- You can efficiently raise the alarm in case of a fire.
Prevom provides a room with beamer for the theoretical part of the small fire extinguisher training.
Prevom will also provide a fireproof jacket, fireproof gloves and a hat for all participants. We also bring the fire extinguishers, fire blanket and other equipment.
The venue for this training will be provided by Prevom.
The fire extinguishing training course, comprising both theoretical and practical components, lasts approximately 4 hours and takes place in a single day.
There is no exam for this firefighting course. After the course, we provide a participation certificate and you will be able to independently extinguish an incipient fire using various extinguishing agents or a fire blanket.
You will receive a certificate of participation from Prevom. This certificate will state that you have successfully completed the training.
If you have lost your attestation, it is best to discuss this with your employer. They can then contact Prevom.
We charge a €30 administrative fee for issuing a new certificate.

Prevom operates a fair and transparent policy for its training courses – so there are no hidden or additional costs.
Both professional and private customers always receive a valid VAT invoice.
In the event of a no-show or cancellation by the client, the registration fee or invoice amount remains fully payable. The same applies when the customer requests a change of the appointment date within the two-week period preceding the scheduled appointment. The customer is entitled to reschedule the training once at no additional cost, provided that the request is submitted at least two weeks before the scheduled date.
If you do not participate in the examination or training, you will not be eligible to receive a certificate/attestation. To obtain a certificate/attestation, you must of course pass the examination/internal test.
We make every effort to ensure that no examination or training session is ever cancelled by Prevom. However, if cancellation becomes necessary due to exceptional reasons or extreme circumstances, you will be notified by phone or email.
In the event of a cancellation by Prevom, the registration fee will be fully refunded, without any additional compensation beyond the initial amount paid at the time of booking.
If, on the day of training, it is determined that the practice cannot be conducted safely, we reserve the right to discontinue the training without refunding the amount due.

Algemene doelstelling:
Veilig en efficiënt leren blussen.
Dit houdt in:
- Voorkom schade: Het snel en doeltreffend inzetten van kleine blusmiddelen kan ernstige schade beperken.
- Red levens: Juiste training kan levens redden in noodsituaties.
- Wettelijke verplichting: Veel landen hebben regelgeving die werkgevers verplicht om hun personeel te trainen in brandbestrijding.
Dit kan op verschillende manieren.Â

- Je kent de algemene beginselen van brand, inclusief hoe brand ontstaat en hoe een brand zich verspreidt.
- Je kent de vuurdriehoek.
- Herkennen van de verschillende brandblusapparaten, hun eigenschappen en hun toepassingen.
- Je weet het verschil tussen de verschillende brandklassen: leer hoe we branden indelen op basis van de materialen die branden.
- Je hebt inzicht in de juiste procedures en acties die moeten worden gevolgd in geval van een beginnende brand.
- Je kan branden van vaste stoffen, vloeistoffen en gassen blussen met behulp van poedersnelblussers, CO2-snelblussers en water.
- In staat zijn een blusdeken zorgvuldig inzetten ingeval van brand.
- Je kan op een efficiënte juiste wijze alarm geven bij brand.
Prevom voorziet een ruimte met beamer voor het theoretische gedeelte van de opleiding kleine blusmiddelen.
Prevom zorgt ook voor een brandweerjas, brandwerende handschoenen en een muts voor alle deelnemers. ook brengen wij de brandblussers, branddeken en ander materiaal mee.
De locatie voor deze cursus voorziet Prevom.
De opleiding blusmiddelen, het theoretische en praktisch gedeelte, duurt ongeveer 4 uur en geven we op één dag.
Er is geen examen voor deze cursus brandbestrijding. Na de cursus voorzien wij een deelname-attest en ben je zelfstandig in staat een beginnende brand te blussen met verschillende blusmiddelen of een blusdeken.
Je ontvangt een deelname-attest van Prevom. Op dit attest staat dat je de opleiding succesvol hebt voltooid.
 Als je jouw attest bent kwijtgeraakt, bespreek je dit best met je werkgever. Zij kunnen vervolgens contact opnemen met Prevom.
Wij rekenen €30 administratieve kost aan om een nieuw attest op te maken.

Zowel professionele als particuliere klanten ontvangen steeds een geldige BTW factuur.
Indien de klant niet opdaagt (no-show) of een annulering doorvoert, blijft de inschrijvingskost of het factuurbedrag volledig verschuldigd. Hetzelfde geldt wanneer de klant verzoekt om de afspraakdatum te verplaatsen binnen een termijn van twee weken voorafgaand aan de geplande afspraak. De klant heeft het recht om de opleiding éénmalig kosteloos te verplaatsen, op voorwaarde dat dit verzoek minstens twee weken vóór de geplande datum wordt ingediend.
Als u niet deelneemt aan het examen of opleiding, kan u eveneens géén certificaat/attest bekomen. Om een certificaat/attest te bekomen moet u uiteraard slagen voor het examen/interne proef.
Wij proberen er uiteraard voor te zorgen dat er nooit een examen- of opleidingsmoment door Prevom moet worden geannuleerd. Mocht dit door uitzonderlijke redenen of extreme omstandigheden toch gebeuren, dan wordt u hier telefonisch of via mail van op de hoogte gesteld.
Het inschrijvingsgeld betalen we in geval van annulatie volledig terug, zonder enige bijkomende vergoeding bovenop het initieel bedrag dat u betaalde bij jouw boeking.
Als op de dag van de opleiding blijkt dat de praktijk niet op een veilige manier kan uitgevoerd worden, behouden wij het recht op de opleiding te staken zonder terugbetaling van het verschuldigde bedrag.
