Are you prepared for emergencies? Do you know how to fight a sudden fire effectively or when and how to deploy the right small extinguishers? And perhaps more importantly, how could the starting fire have been prevented?
It is essential that every employee has basic knowledge of fire fighting & fire safety because according to the Codex Book 3 Title 3 of Well-being at Work, every employer must establish a fire-fighting service any number of employees present in the company.
This approach ensures that at least one person is always available to intervene in the event of a fire incident, and also allows the size and resources of the firefighting service to be tailored to the specific fire risks within the company.

The training takes 4 hours and takes place on one day at your company.

Our fire safety training with small extinguishers is specially designed for people who may have to take responsibility for firefighting within a company or institution.

- You know the general principles of fire, including how fire starts and how a fire spreads.
- You know the fire triangle.
- You recognise different fire extinguishers, their properties and applications.
- You know the difference between fire classes: learn how fires are classified based on the materials that burn.
- You understand the correct procedures and actions to be followed in case of fire.
- You can extinguish fires of solids, liquids and gases using powder rapid extinguishers, CO2 rapid extinguishers and water.
- You can carefully deploy a fire blanket.
- You can efficiently raise the alarm in case of a fire.
Prevom provides a room with beamer for the theoretical part of the small fire extinguisher training.
Prevom will also provide a fireproof jacket, fireproof gloves and a hat for all participants. We also bring the fire extinguishers, fire blanket and other equipment.
The venue for this training will be provided by Prevom.
The fire extinguishing training course, comprising both theoretical and practical components, lasts approximately 4 hours and takes place in a single day.
There is no exam for this firefighting course. After the course, we provide a participation certificate and you will be able to independently extinguish an incipient fire using various extinguishing agents or a fire blanket.
You will receive a certificate of participation from Prevom. This certificate will state that you have successfully completed the training.
If you have lost your attestation, it is best to discuss this with your employer. They can then contact Prevom.
We charge a €30 administrative fee for issuing a new certificate.

In the event of a no-show or cancellation by the client, the registration fee or invoice amount remains fully payable. The same applies when the customer requests to reschedule the appointment date within a period of two weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. The customer has the right to reschedule the training once free of charge, provided that this request is made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date.
If you do not participate in the examination or training, you will not be eligible to receive a certificate/attestation. To obtain a certificate/attestation, you must of course pass the examination/internal test.
We make every effort to ensure that no examination or training session is ever cancelled by Prevom. However, if cancellation becomes necessary due to exceptional reasons or extreme circumstances, you will be notified by phone or email.
In the event of a cancellation by Prevom, the registration fee will be fully refunded, without any additional compensation beyond the initial amount paid at the time of booking.
If, on the day of training, it is determined that the practice cannot be conducted safely, we reserve the right to discontinue the training without refunding the amount due.
