In-company first aid: a valuable skill
The Royal Decree of 15 December 2010 on first aid
provided to an employee who falls victim to an accident or becomes unwell provides a framework for organising first aid in your company.
During our course, we discuss in detail the first-aid actions a company emergency response officer should take when someone experiences physical injuries or other difficulties. Each participant will have the chance to practice extensively with a variety of materials such as learning CPR with a CPR mannequin, wound care, an AED device, … This way, you will be excellently prepared for should the situation ever arise.

If you pass the basic first aid course, you will receive a ‘company emergency response officer’ certificate.
This certificate remains valid indefinitely provided you attend a 4-hour annual refresher course. This is required by law.

Mandatory refresher training
After completing the basic training, you will receive a certificate as a company emergency response officer. However, the Welfare Act requires certified social workers to undergo annual refresher training.
With our refresher training, you can refresh your knowledge and skills and keep up to date with the latest techniques theory. This refresher training ensures that your certificate as a first aider remains valid.

For the basic company emergency response offer training, you do not need any previous training to participate. Anyone who has mastered the language can take part.
For the refresher training, you must first have taken the basic training a year earlier. Your attestation of first aid worker only remains valid if you take the refresher course every year.
