Job Description

Do you have experience as a Level I Prevention Consultant and want to make a real impact on the safety policies of various companies? As a Safety Consultant with us, you are not only the one who identifies risks and recommends measures, but also a key player in developing and implementing the overarching safety policy.

Your role as Safety consultant:

You have a varied job in which you are both practically engaged and strategically involved in policy-making. You get a lot of freedom to shape your work, and no two days are the same. Here are some of your responsibilities:

  • Risk analysis and policy advice: You carry out in-depth risk analyses, spot hazards and look for the causes of occupational accidents or occupational diseases. But it doesn’t stop at identifying problems – you actively think about long-term solutions and advise our customers on the basis of your findings.
  • Policy reporting: You ensure that all administration is on point: from monthly and annual reports to drafting the global prevention plan and reports to the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work. Your input ensures the necessary support and follow-up.
  • Advice and implementation: You advise companies at policy level on the design of safe workplaces, the use of materials and work equipment, and employee health. You also ensure that the right procedures are followed in the workplace and that everyone receives the right training to work safely.
  • Specific projects: You develop internal emergency procedures and help coordinate work carried out by third parties. You actively think along with the organisation to make work processes safer and more efficient.

Every day offers new challenges and opportunities to improve safety and policy. You have the scope to make an impact and take organisations to the next level in safety.

Your profile

  • You have a Level I Prevention Advisor diploma (with a certificate of Environmental Coordinator A and/or Safety Coordinator preferred).
  • You have at least 2 years’ experience as a prevention advisor and are well-versed in current legislation (Codex).
  • You are decisive and can think strategically about safety policy. You ensure that action is taken on your advice, and you have the skills to communicate this well to management and staff.
  • You love change and challenge yourself and your colleagues to continuously improve.
  • You have a proactive attitude and can work independently, but you also work well together in a team.

We offer

  • An attractive salary package with fringe benefits.
  • A position with a lot of variety, in which you can work both policy-wise and practically, and in which you will have plenty of opportunities for further development.
  • A friendly team where cooperation and team spirit are really important. You will be part of our Department League, where we regularly organise fun teambuilding activities. The perfect time to get to know your colleagues – prevention advisers and consultants – better and have a good time together!
  • Work-life balance is important to us, on top of your legally accrued holidays you can accrue 12 ADV days annually.

Ready for a new challenge where you make both policy and practical impact?
Then apply as a Safety Consultant and help us make our clients’ workplaces safer and healthier!

Prevom helps its employees grow and develop their skills within a multi-faceted team!

In addition to an attractive salary, you will receive extensive fringe benefits, including a company car and annual refresher courses.

You will be part of a true community where clear, honest and efficient communication is key.
