As an Environmental Coordinator, you will ensure that companies become more environmentally friendly, comply with legislation and take forward-looking green initiatives. Your role as environmental coordinator
As an Environmental Coordinator, you are the expert who helps companies work more consciously and sustainably. What exactly do you do? A lot of different things – no day is the same! Here are some of your responsibilities:
- Environmental policies and procedures: You develop and implement environmental policies that are completely up-to-date with applicable laws and regulations.
- Compliance: You keep an eye on all environmental legislation and standards and ensure that your clients are always compliant.
- Environmental risks: You will identify potential risks, draw up plans to manage them, helping companies move forward.
- Audits and inspections: You coordinate internal audits to check that everything is going according to plan and the environmental management system is working.
- Reporting and documentation: You will collect environmental data and prepare clear reports.
- Liaising: You are the link between companies and external parties, such as government agencies and certification bodies.
- Green initiatives: You think about and help implement smart, sustainable improvements.
In short, a varied role in which you have a real impact and help companies become more aware and sustainable.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who gets really excited about environmental protection and sustainability! This is what we expect:
- You have an Environmental Coordinator A or B certificate (which is a must).
- Do you also have a Level 1 or 2 Prevention Advisor diploma? That’s bonus points!
- You have knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, or are willing to learn them quickly.
- Sustainability is your thing, and you have a passion for environmental protection.
- Experience is nice, but absolutely not a requirement.
- You have a proactive attitude and can work independently, but you also work well together in a team.
