Your role as Safety Consultant

In this varied position, you will work completely independently and contribute to improving safety within various companies. You will have a varied range of tasks, so no two working days will be the same.

Below is a sample of what your working days could look like:

• Risk analysis: You dive into the world of risks and hazards. Whether it’s identifying risks, investigating workplace accidents or finding out the causes of occupational diseases and psychosocial strain, you make sure everything is put under the microscope.
• Advice and prevention: You are the consultant who helps companies make their workplaces safer and healthier. From workplace layout to equipment use, hygiene and employee well-being – your advice helps organisations create optimal working conditions.
• Administration and reporting: you will ensure administrative follow-up, from drafting monthly and annual reports to working on the global prevention plan and providing reports for the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work.
• Specific tasks: You develop internal emergency procedures, coordinate the work of third parties. You also prepare toolboxes for employees and help the hierarchical line to convey this enthusiastically to the shop floor, so that everyone can start work with the right knowledge.
